Our client is an international contract manufacturer of personal care products currently in search of a Sales Manager.

This position will report to the President and will be responsible for both sales and marketing of the company’s private label service, in-house brand and the sale of raw materials. The successful candidate will be responsible for growing sales through various sales and marketing activities. Ideally, s/he will have experience selling contract manufacturing services, technical ingredients or beauty/cosmetic products.



  • Sales and marketing of the company’s suite of services and products
  • Identify new market opportunities in the North American, Asian, and European markets, including building relationships with distribution partners
  • Work with private label developers to expand business opportunities
  • Prepare business plans, sales strategies and forecast future sales, developing a strong pipeline of sales activities
  • Travel to meet and secure new clients
  • Research market trends and activities
  • Update and refine the company’s online presence, including content creation and web marketing
  • Create various marketing materials (product brochures, presentations, ads, blogs, e-newsletters, web-pages etc.)
  • Market the company’s inhouse brand through the e-commerce site and building distributor agreements
  • Liaise with other internal departments including manufacturing, R&D, and finance and provide key sales data and metrics
  • Prepare sales and marketing reports
  • Attend relevant industry events and trade shows, as needed



  • B2B sales experience
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience selling contract manufacturing services, technical ingredients or beauty/cosmetic products
  • Post-secondary education in a related field such as business or marketing
  • Proven sales accomplishments in building sales with new customers, at the end-user and/or distributor level
  • Business development experience and success in developing new clients
  • Strong interpersonal skills and team player mentality
  • Excellent writing skills, basic graphic design skills, exceptional computer skills
  • Willing and able to travel internationally twice a year
