We are urgently seeking a Registered Professional Engineer with of 10+ years’ experience, a strong background in Transportation Engineering who is ready to run their own office. This individual will be opening a new office as the Office Manager for a mid-Atlantic based Civil Engineering firm with twenty (20) offices, over 500 employees and ranked in the top 225 design firms by Engineering News Record. The successful candidate will be on the fast track in that they will be eligible for partner and stock ownership within two to three years.



The successful applicant must have a bachelors degree in Civil or Transportation Engineering, 10+ year's of experience in Transportation Engineering design. Must have hands on design experience. The successful applicant must have excellent communication skills, the ability to manage projects, and the ability to communicate successfully with the client and manage office. Excellent relationships with state Department of Transportation  a must. Technically, this applicant must be able to lead multiple civil engineering design teams and demonstrate proficiency with appropriate roadway and traffic design software.

Must have a minimum of 5 years current experience working with SCDOT
