The Business Development Manager (North American market) will be responsible for achieving sales and profitability in line with company objectives; identifying marketplace opportunities, and prospecting for and engaging new clients to drive rapid and sustainability. Your day-to-day activities will include:

  • Managing and building relationship with major American distributor;
  • Providing product training to existing network of clients through major distributor and through major aftermarket and overlanding, camping, automotive or outdoor industry trade shows;
  • Approach other trade customers and buying groups dealing in the SUV and overlanding adventuring market;
  • Develop and maintain business with new and existing clients ethically and professionally;
  • Regular call cycles to maintain engagement, education and drive repeat business;
  • Create and execute strategic sales plans and expand customer reach;
  • Grow sales revenue through current channels, distributor model and the rapid development of new B2B opportunities;
  • Work in tandem with the company's marketing team to deliver strategic marketing programs to increase sales;
  • Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs;
  • Monitor and evaluate industry trends and customer drivers and meet regularly with management and stakeholders to discuss strategy;
  • Develop long-term, strategic relationships with key customers to deliver outstanding service and support; and
  • Track, assess, and communicate key metrics and business trends to distributors and resellers.


Relevant Business development / sales experience in industry.
