This is a strategic Business Development Manager role in Hospitality within a dynamic, high growth, industry leading company.  Lead and work closely with a proactive team focused on identification and delivery of innovative solutions in an environment which encourages professional development.  Report to the CEO, work closely with Company leadership team members, and be an active member of the Management Team.  Be responsible for leading the business development process and increasing profitable professional service sales via direct (and indirect) development of professional relationships. 

JOB DESCRIPTION

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Manage and continuously improve relationship development process for prospects and existing clients
  • Proactively manage effective lead generation, sales pipeline and proposal development and negotiation processes in collaboration with internal management team
  • Utilize CRM system as primary tool for sales pipeline status updates and management team communication/meetings
  • Develop referral program and lead marketing and education initiatives that highlight competitive benefit of company’s service offerings
  • Maintain awareness of both customer specific and high-level market trends, assure CRM documentation, and conduct periodic SWOT analysis
  • Lead trade conference planning and strategic execution to optimize relationship development

QUALIFICATIONS

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business
  • 10+ years successful sales goal achievement in professional service organization with a track record of proactive and direct hands-on involvement in all aspects of the sales process in an environment of rapid and frequent change
  • Significant hotel industry experience
  • Demonstrated success in navigating competitive markets and development of long-term business relationships with channel partners and customers
  • Significant successful experience with collaborative strategic development, planning, execution and reporting of key performance metrics
  • Proven CRM leadership and sales skill training for professional service leaders
  • Exceptional communication skills including proposal development and presentations
  • Ability to participate in US travel up to about 40%

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • CRM training and leadership experience

Education:
University - Bachelor's Degree/3-4 Year Degree
