JOB DESCRIPTION

It is the world leader in its category, and is embarking on an accelerated growth journey, at home and around the world, taking full advantage of their strength in GMP and specialized technologies.  They are a modern organization in an innovative and high performance industry and they required a motivated and driven Commercial/ Sales Manager to help them reach their goals, and further develop their sales and marketing.
  
The Role:
As part of the Executive Team and reporting to the CEO, this role will focus on identifying and developing new opportunities throughout the group. You will be expected to hit the goals required in this demanding role that promises to be challenging but also exciting in an industry where technology and innovation are synonymous.  
  
Duties:
In this role you will be required to:

  • Have experience in Plastic, Life Science and/or injection moulding.
  • Have a proven track record in hitting targets
  • Have experience in developing business and negotiating multi-$M contracts for production
  • Ability to present credible written and oral presentation to the Board and Exec Team
  • Experience in building strong, practical and effective working relationships with stakeholders and customers alike. 
  • Are customer focused with a passion of attention to detail and quality.
  • Able to develop and implement commercial plans and strategies.

  
The Person:
You will take ownership of your role, while possessing an exemplary attitude and work ethic. Your team will consider you a great leader and you build solid working relationships with those you deal with. You will need at least 8 years’ experience. Ideally your background will also include experience within Pharmaceuticals and or Plastics (injection moulding) industries. You should have a qualification in commerce, business or finance.
  
 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor of Commerce, Business, Finance or relevant field.
  • >8 years of relevant experience in a senior role as commercial manager or similar , mentoring and managing multi-disciplinary teams
  • > 5 years’ experience in Human Health, Animal Health or Plastic moulding fields.
  • Proven experience in sales (B to B), marketing and managing relationships with customers.
  • A proven track record of developing teams to excel in providing customer satisfaction.
  • Solid knowledge of performance reporting and the financial/budgeting processes.
  • Proven track record of matching market needs with business core competencies.
  • Experience in customer centric product development (design thinking, lean start up) preferred
  • Must be competent and proficient in Windows, Internet, Microsoft Office to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

Education:
University - Bachelor's Degree/3-4 Year Degree
