Our client is an established national integrator of electronics/security systems that offers a wide range of products and solutions to the major players in the construction industry. They are currently in need of a Commercial Systems Sales Representative who will be responsible for providing technical support and developing new business opportunities by leveraging the company’s experience and reputation as one of the Canada’s premiere Commercial Security integrators.

The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, resourceful and will have a strong technical aptitude, necessary to provide technical support to existing and prospective clients. Proven experience dealing with customers at a corporate level (Director of Operations, VP of Construction, etc.) will be needed, as well as the ability to provide exceptional customer service to small, medium, and large accounts. Post-secondary education and 5+ years of technical sales experience in the security industry are also required. Candidates with exposure to large commercial projects will be preferred.

  • Hunting for new business opportunities while maintaining strong relationships with existing customers
  • Provide technical support and educate customers on new products
  • Ability to read floor plans/construction drawings
  • Business development and lead generation experience preferred
  • Strong communications and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a team with minimal supervision
  • Multi-tasking and able to work in an evolving technology-based industry
