Global industry leader is searching for a CI / Operational Excellence Leader to provide strategy with Site Management, to identify and implement site improvement projects. Requires extensive experience in leading complex Lean and Six Sigma initiatives to meet project objectives and milestones for site level continuous improvements. --- Promote the continuous improvement strategy and methodology to the plant site and business partners.
--- Support the site project identification process from a CI standpoint.
--- Support site Lean & Six Sigma projects in order to drive continuous improvement.
--- Act as change agent – managing the LSS project stakeholders (e.g. Site Management).
--- Define and conduct complex improvement project teams as Lean Six Sigma Black Belt project following LSS methodology and criteria.
--- Identify replication opportunities Lean Six Sigma projects (within and across Business Group’s and regions collaborating with other BBs)
--- Identify best practice Lean Six Sigma developments (internal/external).
--- Create and implement tools and systems necessary for further LSS deployment.
--- Identify potential Green Belts and Black Belts and support in assessments for certification.
--- Help organize Lean Six Sigma, Green Belt, and Black Belt training.
--- Direct the Site Trainer and support personnel in leading and developing site training programs.
--- Provide Lean Six Sigma concepts/philosophy to site or business management by giving awareness trainings.
--- BS Chemical Engineering or related Engineering required with 8+ years experience leading and facilitating continuous improvement initiatives in a chemical or pharmaceutical manufacturing industry plant environment.
--- Proven proficiency in Lean problem solving, root cause and waste reducing tools, processes, and concepts. (i.e. performance improvement teams, SMED, statistical analysis, pull systems, Kaizen, and scheduling optimization.)
--- Experience leading and following Process/ Manufacturing, Safety/ Security, Sanitation/ Quality Policies and SOPs, and reporting.--- Ability to adapt to changing organizational and operational needs; ability to lead others through change.
--- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Mini tab, MS Project etc.
--- Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt Certification preferred
