JOB DESCRIPTION

As a Corporate Controller, you will manage and oversee the preparation and review of monthly financial reports, corporate cash management activities, and the annual budget and monthly forecast processes. Additionally, the Corporate Controller will manage M&A analysis and integration, along with reviewing market opportunities that support recommendations for solutions based on financial data. The Corporate Controller will oversee the collection and analyzing of financial data with a high degree of complexity and provide financial reports for the purpose of supporting management in driving revenues, reducing costs and increasing liquidity. Manages insurance programs and costs. Assures underlying data is accurate at all times and the corporate finance team is a world-class organization.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Direct and oversee activities of direct and indirect reports to ensure financial results and analyses are communicated accurately and timely
  • Ensure monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting is completed accurately and timely with proper elimination and consolidation entries
  • Review business unit financial submissions and work with business unit finance leads to ensure financials are accurate
  • Provide reports and analysis to the company’s Financial Sponsor and assist with questions that arise
  • Ensure debt reporting and compliance requirements are completed accurately and timely
  • Complete quarterly Board of Directors meeting financial slides and commentary
  • Assist in maintaining the Business Intelligence tool for financial reporting
  • Oversee financial statement audit and tax requests Corporate
  • Provide analysis and support to ensure cash management and liquidity goals are met
  • Manage revolving line of credit to pay-off or borrow as needed Annual budget and monthly forecasting
  • Oversee analysis and support for the annual budget and monthly forecast
  • Ensure budget and forecast reporting is completed accurately and timely
  • Provide data analysis related to merger and acquisition activity
  • Complete purchase accounting and closing balance sheet work for acquisitions
  • Oversee the integration of newly acquired companies Corporate Account Pricing and Business Analytics
  • Review market trends and opportunities for sale of services, cleaning fluids, equipment and related products
  • Oversee business studies on past, future and comparative performance and utilize forecast models to analyze the business and recommend opportunities
  • Review information within financial systems and compare against historical data and forecasted sales. Identify variances, and suggest corrective action
  • Evaluate sales discounts and margins; provide suggestions for improvement
  • Must comply with all applicable OSHA, EPA, local regulatory laws, and company safety policies

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 7-10 years of financial management, financial reporting, analysis or related experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field (CPA preferred)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, MS Office and PowerPoint
  • Hands on experience with Statistical Analysis and Financial Statement Consolidation
  • Knowledge of financial forecasting and diagnosis, corporate finance and information analysis
  • Well informed of current financial subjects and business environments

Education:
University - Bachelor's Degree/3-4 Year Degree
