With a brand new strategic direction of which service is an essential component, this company is part of a global corporation - and the fastest growing in the hand tools business. Selling their products into a range of industries, trades and the DIY consumer market, a new growth strategy has created the need for this role. We need the expertise and enthusiasm of an experienced sales and service focused Customer Service Manager to join this growing team.

The Role
Reporting into the National Sales Manager, the Customer Service Manager will be vital in delivering great experiences for customers in support of the Sales Team, managing order processing and exceeding the expectations all customer segments.


The Customer Service Manager
The successful Customer Service Manager will be focused on delivering the best of the organisation to the customer experience, understanding that great sales is great service and managing a team to excel. Key attributes, will include:

  • The capacity to instil service passion in a sales focused team
  • Experience in managing enquiries, pricing and rebates
  • Managing the allocation of samples for Sales Executives and Account Managers and proactively supporting new product releases
  • The ability to develop a telemarketing team approach to focus on an array of small customers
  • Strong computer literacy; Excel, Microsoft Office and ERP and CRM systems
  • A continuous improvement focus ensuring the streamlining of all Customer Service Team responsibilities
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong analytical capability and action orientation
  • Experience with hand tools or other trades and construction hardware an advantage but not mandatory
