Job Summary:


The DataGen Manager is a technical role to ensure effective and efficient data generation operations. The DataGen Manager also oversees all activities associated with data generation capacity planning and management, fulfilling all customer demands and not breaching any of the agreements (internal or external).


The DataGen Manager is part of Service Operations and work closely with Head Service Operations to ensure customer satisfaction.


As the DataGen Manager is responsible for cost, budget and planning of the data generation operations, it is expected a deep understanding and knowledge about service operations, a good understanding of project management, ITIL processes and service managements as well as service specific knowledge related to payment, telecommunication and/or OEM solutions.



  • Execute on DataGen Service Delivery & Operations strategy, including operational capabilities and roadmap
  • Provide input regarding future and continuous needs in regards to new investments to maintain existing and future services to Head Service Operations based on observations, analysis and input from Profile engineer and Datagen operator.
  • Close collaboration with Service & Process Specialist, Design Architect and Service Design Specialist in regards to planning and executing on service specification requirements on new and existing services
  • Cost control and forecasting from data generation operations perspective
  • Support Head Service Operations by providing information in order to complete OPEX and CAPEX planning for datacenters/cloud
  • Execution of service specification requirements on new and existing services received from Service Owners
  • Manage time in accordance with planned and assigned activities to ensure accuracy and quality in planning
  • Follow Professional Services global policies, procedures and tools




  • University degree in Computer Sciences, IT or related technical/engineering field engineering
  • A minimum of 3- 5 years successful service operations experience in the IT, Technology and/or Security Information systems industry
  • ITIL v3 foundations certified
  • Experience from having management and/or operational leadership roles
  • Experienced in working with ticketing and monitoring systems
  • Preferably experience of managing similar departments
  • Preferably Telecommunications and/or Payment industry experience
