Working leader in the quality department, trained and experienced in all phases of quality control pertaining to our industry. Provides statistical information for quality improvement by identifying testing methods and samples. Works with engineers, production manager, production workers and vendors. Reports to the Quality Assurance Manager.  Excellent company to work with and room for growth!



Ø Determines quality improvement parameters by identifying statistical methods relevant to manufacturing processes.

Ø Establishes statistical confidence by identifying sample size and acceptable error; determining levels of confidence.

Ø Establishes statistical reliability by using mean time before failure, reliability modeling, and reliability demonstration tests.

Ø Develops experiments by applying full and fractional factorial techniques.

Ø Develops sampling plans by applying attribute, variable, and sequential sampling methods.

Ø Maintains statistical process controls and calibration records.

Ø Analyzes data by completing hypothesis, normal distribution, and process capability analysis tests.

Ø Prepares reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data; making recommendations.

Ø Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies; maintaining American society of quality control certified quality engineer qualification.

Ø Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Ø Assist with contract reviews, and audits for AS9100, ESA/OSHA compliance, and assures engineering specifications and quality requirements compliance.

Ø Other duties as described by management.


Bachelors of Science degree or the equivalent combination of education and/or experience. Demonstrate ability to understand and enforce the basic requirements of a quality system within aerospace/manufacturing environment. Must speak, read, write and comprehend English. Strong problem-solving skills required using established methodologies. Working knowledge with Autocad, Catia, Coordinate measurement machine, CAD.


2 years experience in quality field and/or 2-5 years related experience

Requires PWA - SQA training

Must have ability to read blueprints/drawings; requires ability to communicate effectively; computer knowledge required; clerical skills helpful.
