JOB DESCRIPTION

Summary The Digital Operations Mgr. is responsible for managing our online media sites as it pertains to: Analytics, Tag Managing and Advertising and Social monetization.

Candidate should have excellent skills in understanding the relationship between Ad server and Google Analytics CMS.

SEO background is also critical.

The job will also have daily duties in proofing, revising, and implementing advertising materials into various web-based ad severs for display. Typically, this is mostly Google Ad Manager.

Secondary duties will be to understand digital campaign analytics for troubleshooting.

Digital Operations Mgr. will work directly with marketing, web developers, IT technology resources for accomplishing all aspects of website advertising products, analytics and general digital media services for marketing that align with their vision.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities

• Conduct Ad Operations: from Order inception to Production management through creative tracking and reporting (will train on Google Ad Manager)

• Strong background in Wordpress page building or similar CMS

• Basic programming: Javascript and HTML 5, JSON

• Ad serving trouble shooting (coding, script issues etc…)

• Monthly online campaign performance diagnostics auditing

• Google Analytics/Datastudio reporting for Publishers/ Execs

• Maintain and advance Google Tag Manager for various analytics as well as set custom dimensions for specific audience tracking

• Assist IT with diagnosis impacting to digital ad display

• Assist in implementation, testing and training on new or evolving Client products as determined by Company, IT and publishers

• Detail and organize in fast paced deadline oriented business w/ minimal mistakes.

• Control advertising and promotions on Social Media sites and creation of lookalike audience

• Assist with relevant SEO efforts to drive traffic based on his analysis (Search Engine Marketing)

• Under directions from Marketing department assist with budgeted targeting to assist with audience development using: FB Lookalike and Feathr

 

QUALIFICATIONS

Requirements

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

• 1-3 years in a related position

• HTML, HTML 5 related experience

• Perfunctory knowledge of web based creative serving programs: Google Ad Manager

• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suites programs

• Flexibility to work with tight deadlines and changing environments,p> • Strong attention to detail

• Interest in digital media products and evolution of design

• Self-motivated individual with interest in web design, analytics, and product development.

• Ability to inspect web page source and diagnose potential problems w/ creative delivery

• Basic understanding of YouTube for Business

• Excellent understanding of Social Media business managers: Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and LinkedIn

• Detail and organize in fast paced deadline oriented business w/ minimal mistakes.

NON-ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience w/ 3rd party tagging programs like Doubleclick, Atlas

• Online video creation and formatting

• Proficiency with ad servers (Google-DFP)

• Basic understanding of Interactive Advertising Bureau and Coalition for Better Ads

Education:
University - Bachelor's Degree/3-4 Year Degree
