JOB DESCRIPTION

Come work with one of the premier Telecommunications Fiber companies in the Pacific NW. We provide fiber services to rural communities on the western seaboard.

We have continuing growth with an urgent need for Marketing Director with knowledge of Fiber optics and carrier marketing to help us expand our brand, and footprint. Come be part of a dynamic, fast paced team.

Essential Job Functions

Responsible for developing and implementing an annual marketing and communications plan for BM in pursuit of its longer-term vision. · Guide the organizations overall marketing approach, establishing tactical marketing strategies, including initiatives for neighborhood immersion, community and media engagement, student initiatives, as well as other programs – aimed at increasing awareness, differentiating BM from competitors, and increasing market penetration

 

  • Develop, support, and implement the marketing strategies, goals, messaging, and metrics for each BM initiative.
  • Responsible for managing and overseeing BM marketing budget.
  • Oversee the creation and production of all marketing, advertising, and promotional materials, including copywriting. Manage and improve the BM brand.
  • Strengthen name recognition by building stronger brand identity and awareness and ensuring a visible presence in communities in which BM offers service.
  • Responsible for overseeing the look and feel of all collateral, both print and social media, ensuring consistency.
  • Work with employees across all departments to create and execute initiatives that differentiate BM and support its growth, awareness, and brand recognition.
  • Execute and analyze yearly consumer research across BM’s footprint for internal customer and competitive understanding.
  • Responsible for tracking and analyzing the effectiveness of marketing and advertising deliverables and initiatives, developing quantitative metrics to measure effectiveness.
  • Enable Residential and Commercial Sales efforts with specific sales programs and monthly and quarterly goals.
  • Ability to work closely with co-workers in a small office, often under pressure
  • Guide the management of the BM website, social media, online advertising, email communication supporting marketing initiatives and communication strategies.
  • Act as liaison between BM and local Communities, giving support and aiding digital awareness/adoption projects as necessary.
  • Performs other related duties and projects as required.

 

 

Requirements

Qualifications/Basic Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in marketing or related degree and 5 years’ experience in marketing required.
  • A passion for making a difference in a business building essential infrastructure providing opportunities to change the face of rural Oregon.
  • A self-starter, able to set and juggle competing priorities and deliverables
  • Ability to be self-directed, multi-task and work in a fast paced, pressurized environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills required.
  • Excellent written and oral skills required.
  • Excellent organizational skills required.
  • Experience with new media and internet advertising.
  • Ability to creatively problem solve.
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays as required.
  • Ability to attend evening meetings, as well as to organize and travel to Community launches and other initiatives
  • Ability to work in a windows computer environment required.
  • Thorough knowledge of Fiber to the Premise industry preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $85,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
