You have a solid technology background that has helped create a successful Project Manager. You love high-quality products and care deeply about product design. Your natural curiosity gives you a strong desire for always asking “how could this be better?”. You’re constantly troubleshooting and problem-solving everywhere you go. You creatively find the best solution to every different kind of product, manufacturing, or material challenge that stands in your way. You thrive in fast-paced environments while working independently or collaboratively to achieve success on multiple projects. You are obsessed with simple design that works and lasts.
About the Job:
The Director of Product Development is tasked with improvements to existing products along with developing new product design concepts and launching new product divisions. This position must balance product design with manufacturing and cost implications, in order to achieve the best product performance and user experience. The Director of Product Development will wear many hats, is an individual contributor (no direct reports), gets his/her hands dirty, works cross functionally with the Marketing & Sales Teams and CEO.
