The role as a Director includes the development and implementation of the business plan, collaboration with the firm's international network on complex cross-border matters, working with the local team and delivery of insolvency and restructuring assignments.
Driving high-profile insolvency and restructuring assignments and investigations and complex cross-border matters, particularly across PRC, Hong Kong, Singapore, Indonesia, BVI and Cayman.
Delivering quality work product and a high level of client service.
Driving business and practice development.
Establishing and developing relationships with potential and current clients.
Promoting an insolvency/ restructuring firm and sourcing new work.
Managing an office and leading a team of professional staff and providing supervision and training; and participating in and leading global business initiatives.
A bachelor's degree or higher in accounting, business administration or finance.
A chartered accountant with a minimum of 10 years' relevant work experience in insolvency, restructuring and associated investigations.
Existing network of legal, banking and fund contacts in shanghai and across PRC would be advantageous.
Highly motivated with a good business sense and commercial acumen.
Strong financial, business analytical and report writing skills.
Strong people management skills; and excellent communication skills.
University - Bachelor's Degree/3-4 Year Degree
