JOB DESCRIPTION

Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership and oversight of EHS and Security for this plant
  • Working closely with the plant leadership and corporate EHS, will implement programs and procedures to ensure optimal compliance performance, including; delivering effective training, lead inspections, audits and sampling
  • Lead, coach and mentor multi-disciplinary teams in support of plant safety, emergency response and security
  • Implement incident investigation process and methods, provide root cause analysis and corrective actions
  • Ensure regulatory and internal reporting is accurate and submitted in a timely manner
  • Provide EHS subject matter expertise in support of plant projects

QUALIFICATIONS

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's in EHS or a closely related discipline
  • Minimum 3 years of experience managing EHS programs in a manufacturing facility
  • CSP or CIH certification preferred
  • Expertise in engagement, building rapport on the plant floor and moving compliance performance to the next level
  • Areas of skill and knowledge should include; auditing, strategic planning, PSM and RMP standards, behavior-based initiatives, hazard recognition and risk assessment, as well as, management systems
