JOB DESCRIPTION

We are conducting a search for an Electrical Reliability Engineer for a leading energy company located in the greater Philadelphia, PA, DE area.  This progressive company offers above average compensation, bonus, career growth and benefits. The focus would be to provide electrical engineering support to all electrical and power distribution equipment and systems throughout the plant. This includes the following:

 

  • Maintain a high reliability of the plants present and future electrical infrastructure
  • Provide predictive and preventive maintenance including reliability engineering and failure analysis and capital expense budget
  • Interface in support of plant personnel including, Operations, Electrical Maintenance and Contractors
  • Conducts systems analysis studies such as load flow, voltage drop, short circuit, relay coordination, etc. and works to correct deficiencies.
  • Perform project engineering including electrical evaluation, cost estimation, equipment specification, systems design
  • Develops and implements system to collect, report and analyze failure data in order to recommend improvements
  • Track equipment repair history and analyze information and metrics by developing computer databases and spreadsheets
  • Power distribution equipment includes circuit breakers, transformers, motor controls, relays, etc.
  • Provide engineering support for projects including improvement of electrical safety,  critical assessments, project and field safety and insurance audits, root cause failure analysis, diagnostics, commissioning and startup

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering
  • 10 years or more of electrical power maintenance, reliability and project engineering in an industrial or process manufacturing environment required.
  • Experience with power distribution systems and equipment such as circuit breakers, transformers, motor controls, relays, high and medium voltages

Education:
University - Bachelor's Degree/3-4 Year Degree
