Global Fortune Company and Industry Leader is seeking a Plant Electrical Engineer. This person will provide technical support for the plant power distribution systems. Person will be responsible for the maintenance and reliability of the Plant electrical power distribution system and will review all potential capital projects relating to the power distribution system. Indirect supervision to Instrumentation/Electrical Technicians
Supervise the execution of the annual high voltage maintenance program.
Will analyze and monitor the status and condition of the site electrical system for reliability performance and safety.
Provide electrical engineering and technical expertise to the plant and look for opportunities for optimizing the plants electrical systems.
Manage the Plant Arc Flash Program.
Lead and Indirectly supervise Instrumentation/Electrical Technicians
Develop capital spending plans
Provide guidance in troubleshooting issues related to power distribution and electrical equipment.
Provide technical assistance to the plant electricians and instrument technicians.
BS in Electrical Engineering and 7 plus years of experience in electrical maintenance and industrial power distribution.
Extensive experience in manufacturing, engineering, maintenance and project execution. PMP Certification a plus.
Experience in a process related industry like chemicals, food ingredients, alternative fuels, steel or pharmaceuticals all relevant.
Ability to solve complex technical problems in electrical design, operations and equipment failures utilizing FMEA and RCA.
Expertise in the following desired: power distribution, power generation, electrical equipment protection, control and maintenance.
Familiarity with software for power system modeling (ETAP a plus).
University - Bachelor's Degree/3-4 Year Degree
