Electrical Design Engineer to partner with Mechanical engineers and Power Controller engineers in developing and modifying diverse electronic technologies used in aerospace and aviation applications....opportunity to work closely with customers.

Will work with:

•   DO-254 and DO-160.  

•   ST ARM-based and PIC Microchip processors

•   Hardware and protocol aspects of I2C, SPI, RS485, CANBus, ARINC 429, and Ethernet.

•   Software C, Visual Studio, MatLab and DO-178C

JOB DESCRIPTION

Electrical Design Engineer to partner with Mechanical engineers and Power Controller engineers in developing and modifying diverse electronic technologies used in aerospace and aviation applications....opportunity to work closely with customers.

•   Design, troubleshoot, validate, and qualify power, analog, and digital circuits including microprocessor and EPLD-based systems.  

•   Produce Built-In-Testing coverage and achieve the data rates and responsiveness required to interrupt faults and report information.

•   Work closely with and visit customers to make technical presentations.

•   Support manufacturing during prototype builds and product transitions to manufacturing.

•   Provides design leadership, coaching, and mentoring to junior engineers.

Will work with:

QUALIFICATIONS

Ideal Qualifications

•   BS Electrical Engineering

•   Minimum of 5 years of experience in design build team environment.   

Familiar with:

•   DO-254 and DO-160.  

•   ST ARM-based and PIC Microchip processors

•   Hardware and protocol aspects of I2C, SPI, RS485, CANBus, ARINC 429, and Ethernet.

•   Software C, Visual Studio, MatLab and DO-178C

Education:
University - Bachelor's Degree/3-4 Year Degree
