Industrial Electrician

JOB DESCRIPTION

 

 

Responsibilities

  • Accountable for the layout, assembly, installation, repair, maintenance, connection, testing of electrical fixtures, apparatus and equipment wiring
  • Plan installations from blueprints, sketches, and specifications of all electrical and electronic devices
  • Diagnose systematic faults in electrical systems and equipment, repair/replacement of components as required
  • Test electrical and electronic equipment for proper function, as per company regulations
  • Conduct preventative maintenance on equipment and use SAP to record findings

QUALIFICATIONS

Qualifications

  • Must hold a current and valid 309A Electrician – Construction and Maintenance Certificate or a 409A Industrial Electrician Certificate
  • Background in troubleshooting PLC and computer-controlled equipment
  • Minimum 5 years related experience preferably in plastic injection moulding, automotive, and experience with Siemens PLCs
