The Company

The international owner is rewarding this success with significant investment and the business has set themselves ambitious goals.  The business recognises that to continue to succeed and meet the challenges of future modern manufacturing, they require additional skills and experience, individuals who will challenge the status quo.

The role
Right now they need an experienced electrical/mechanical or dual engineer.  Some key responsibilities include and are not limited to maintenance of pneumatic, hydraulic and conveyor systems to make sure they are functioning at optimal performance levels. There is also the requirement to contribute to and drive a preventative maintenance culture to make sure production is ahead of the game. Diagnosing and repairing faults and attending to breakdowns is important to keep the plant operational and reduce downtime.

Investigating manufacturing failures to find out why and identifying root causes to stop them from happening again is vital. If it can be done more efficiently and effectively, and most importantly safely, then challenging the status quo is welcome.
Operating as part of a small team of engineers and liaising regularly with a long serving production crew, the company is highly safety conscious and focused on quality.  Offering a competitive hourly rate plus allowances, you get complimentary product during shift and discounted product from the staff store.
