We have an exciting new Engineering Design Manager role with an agricultural company based in the Central Valley, CA.

Reporting directly into the General Manager, this person will oversee a team of engineers and facilitate the business growth strategy by developing team capabilities and planning resources and budget to deliver quality design projects to multiple project timelines.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Function

• Design team management – Work with sales staff to assign projects to engineering team, manage schedules and project deliverable timelines.
• Workflow and SOP generation
• New hire training & continuous team development.
• AutoCAD Link database management, general data management
• Pump station design
• Filter design
• Reservoir & open channel design
• Electrical design
• Scope of work and project phasing definition
• Material selection and product specification
• Value engineering and cost analysis
• Occasional job site data acquisition and quality control
• Continuously strives to improve pro

QUALIFICATIONS

Job Requirements

• B.S. BioResource & Agricultural Engineering, Civil other closely related engineering degree.
• Professional Engineer licensure in California.
• Advanced skills in critical software applications, such as AutoCAD, Link & Microsoft Office.
• Advanced understanding of hydraulics and pipeline design
• Strong understanding of soil water relationships and soil science
• Expert in problem analysis and creative problem solving

Education:
University - Bachelor's Degree/3-4 Year Degree
