Plant Engineering Manager

Seeking an Engineering Manager for a leading personal care products manufacturer.  Reporting to the VP/Plant Manager, the Engineering Manager will provide Asset Care management along with engineering support and resources to all facets of the plant organization.  

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible to ensure that the factory is executing Preventative Maintenance & Overhauls within scheduled maintenance windows & that predictive routes are executed to detect failures, resulting in increased equipment reliability
  • Develop, implement, and oversee Asset Care.
  • Responsible to develop and manage the Asset Care and Maintenance budgets.
  • Is an integral part of the Operations staff, participating as a leader in all business issues relevant to operations & maintenance, including strategies & objectives related to people, safety, quality, service, & cost.
  • Assistant and provide input to the corporate Product Development Group and R&D Group on current and new product development.
  • Participate in and provide recommendation, acquisitions, relative to safety and ergonomic issues.
  • Investigate, analysis, solicited proposals and generate documents for capital requests and acquisitions.
  • Manage activities with outside contractors relative to construction and maintenance of building and grounds.
  • Maintain documentation on equipment and Preventative Maintenance program.


MUST have Bachelor's Degree in Engineering 

Must have experience overseeing ASSET CARE,  TPM and Reliability will also be part of their background.

Minimum 5 years experience in manufacturing and or facilities maiintenance operations.  Manufacturing experience must be in Personal Care, Cosmetics, Pharmaceutical or Foods industries
