JOB DESCRIPTION

Summary: Working with the Global Business Development Team, the Executive Director supports the business development activities of the organization in their jurisdiction. The minimum expectation of an executive Director is that the employee will:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Responsible for all Business Development activities within their assigned jurisdiction (USA) and other jurisdictions as required
• Support the Global Business Development team with offshore domiciled opportunities and regulatory consulting solutions as the subject matter expert. Liaise and support the Investor solutions team regarding UK/EU domiciled and platform opportunities to onboard client prospects.
• Support and assist the US/ Global regulatory compliance team in promoting service solutions to client prospects, existing clients and key referral partners as principal business development contact.
• Build and execute a pipeline of opportunities with new, emerging and established asset managers through outbound sales, cross sales and relationship management
• Work with the Global Head of Business Development and Team Members to ensure all possible business development avenues are pursued including researching, identifying, and analyzing opportunities.
• Support the business development plan, meet new revenue targets and be responsible for the development and growth of Client’s  profile and reputation across North America
• Develop strategies for establishing partnerships and business relationships to market product offerings and services to Investment managers/Investors, across the full business lines of client.
• Help identify market opportunities which will contribute towards the development of new programs and products.

QUALIFICATIONS

REQUIREMENTS
Education:
• Strong academic background including a MSc in Finance/Business/Economics or related field;
Experience:
• Candidate should be motivated with enhanced networking skills and adept at building and maintaining client relationships;
• Minimum 5-10 years’ experience in an investment funds environment;
• Knowledge of US/EU Regulated Investment Products, Offshore fund structuring and regulatory compliance solutions
• Client facing background with outstanding presentation skills;•
• Strong IT skills including MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
• Analytical and critical thinking skills; ability to make good decisions when faced with complex or ambiguous data.
 

Education:
University - Bachelor's Degree/3-4 Year Degree
