JOB DESCRIPTION
Sweeping all warehouse aisles to remove all garbage
Remove all wood chips and larger pieces of wood and place in the wood bins
Dust all areas were possible.
Place scrap drums on trailer for disposal
Sort skids for production as required
Daily - sweep all aisles in building 132 and 130 and remove garbage as required (in warehouse areas 126, 130, 132)
Organize all empty drums in the trailer for disposal.
Semi Weekly- sweep all aisles at building 126
place all full wood waste bins in the scrap skid trailer for disposal
check and empty all cardboard bins as required
Weekly – Clean all doors and windows including ledges in building 130 including west dock area
Scrub warehouse floors in all aisles in all buildings weekly.
Monthly- sweep and mop under rack areas at building 130
Quarterly- clean all exposed electrical outlets fire extinguishers and window ledges in all warehouses
Vacuum or dust all exposed areas of racking in all warehouses
Sweep under racks at building 132
Place scrap empty drums on trailer for disposal
Sort skids for production as required
Clean outside dock areas for wood and garbage
Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
Ability to work to deadlines and handle multiple tasks.
Successful candidates must be safety consciousness. First Aid/CPR training is an asset.
Good understanding of GMP concepts and Standard Operating Procedures.
Good communication (written and verbal) skills combined with good organizational skills.
Computer literate (Excel, Word).
Flexibility to work overtime on an as required basis
WHMIS training and Transportation of Dangerous Goods training are beneficial
