Our client is a leading worldwide provider of instruments used to perform material analysis and testing, coating thickness measurements, XRF, and similar analyses. They are looking for a  Field Sales Engineer for the Pacific Northwest.

You will be responsible for maintaining old and developing new client accounts, making on-site calls, doing demos, and follow-up.

 

 

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Sales calls, needs analysis, providing solutions for new and existing clients.
  • Keep up to date on company products and services, and keep customers up to date as well.
  • New business development, lead generation, trade shows, seminars.
  • On-site and web-based installation and training
  •  Help application specialists test client samples after purchase of instruments.
  • Keep current on objectives and forecasts.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • BS Engineering / Chemistry / Physics / Material Science
  • Want someone living in the Pacific Northwest - preferably Seattle or Portland
  • Really prefer min 2 years lab experience or technical sales
  • Background  using / selling XRF / x-ray fluorescence, gauges for measuring coating thickness and conductivity
  • Outgoing person able to work independently to achieve goals
  • Able to provide forecasts and submit business plans
  • Excellent organization and communication skills
  • Travel as required within the territory

Education:
University - Bachelor's Degree/3-4 Year Degree
