JOB DESCRIPTION

Our top global pharma client is seeking to add a Finance Compliance Manager, this is a newly created position! This position is with one of their "divisions".

Position would report to the Finance Director, Loyalty Programs and will be based in Irvine, CA, could also be in Chicago and "remote" with travel 1 week a month to Irving, CA.

This role would directly partner with Marketing & our clients Data Labs teams to develop a compliance process that monitors provider reimbursement activity.

Key responsibilities are evaluating and implementing financial controls that deter and mitigate fraud risk for our clients consumer loyalty program. These responsibilities include:

  • Understand systematic reimbursement controls within client as well as their limitations; perform data analytics of health care provider payouts to ensure reimbursements are per program and patient promotions rules
  • Review, analyze and interpret data collected from multiple sources to ensure valid conclusions are drawn. Analysis will assess redemption patterns at brand level, with a focus on large patient offers as well as select providers. For accounts with suspicious behavior, Finance Manager will research and quantify fraudulent claims; he/she will partner with the loyalty Program Team and Field Sales to effectively address identified issues, including recovery of payouts for fraudulent claims. Finance Manager will also help formulate a process to monitor reimbursement patterns for flagged accounts. 

 

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline

6 years of work related experience with a minimum of 2-3 years of internal audit / or external audit experience.

Strong computer skills including Excel spreadsheets; must be comfortable working with large amounts of data.

Proven experience in process improvement and financial controls

 

Education:
University - Bachelor's Degree/3-4 Year Degree
