Job Summary

 

Provide high-level technical expertise in the area of IT system and network administration. Install and administrate firewall environments and apply configuration- and rule-changes to firewalls. Further, this individual would be responsible to ensure that the established processes to meet the regulatory and our clients  corporate security requirements are respected and optimized, in a fast paced and critical environment.

 

Primary Responsibilities

 

  • Operations of cluster/HA firewall, proxy, load balancers and IDS
  • Installation, configuration and administration of networking devices such as Firewalls, Switches and Routers
  • Troubleshoot firewall issues and network performance; use various monitoring and analysis tools
  • Establish VPN tunnels with other sites and customers
  • Administer and monitor of Intrusion prevention system
  • Conduct Vulnerability and penetration assessment on the network
  • Documentation and maintain network diagrams and configuration changes
  • Plan and execute changes, including coordination, planning and notification about changes. 
  • Make recommendations for the enhancement of the operational processes
  • Provide regional Firewall administration support
  • Work in a global team of experts to support internal and external customers around the globe
  • Conduct monthly (weekend) maintenance activities

 

Secondary Responsibilities

.

  • Ensure the logical security requirements are maintained based on standards such as Company, VISA, MasterCard and PCI
  • Provide on-call support
  • Assist Help Desk and Server Administrators
  • Participate in logical security audits

 

Qualifications, Experience and Educational Requirements

 

Work Experience:

 

  • 5 years or more experience in administrating Firewalls

     

    Skills and Competencies:

     

  • Deep knowledge in firewall management (Juniper, Palo Alto & Check Point) is mandatory
  • Experience with Linux Server and Workstation, command line scripting, DNS, DHCP, NTP, LDAP etc.
  • Knowledge about Cisco Network Components is appreciated
  • Experience in structured and formalized IT operations according to ITIL standard
  • Working experience in network monitoring systems
  • Experience in security tools such as Tripwire, Nessus, Qualys
  • Knowledge of Security Incident and Event Management Systems (SIEM)
  • Knowledge of PCI DSS
  • Good verbal and written communication skill in English
  • Proven interpersonal, analytical, presentation and problem solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to multi-task, organize and prioritize with attention to details
  • Self-motivated team player with ability to interact in a collaborate manner
  • Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure in meeting tight deadlines
  • Experience and knowledge on Cyber Security
  • Experience in common client applications such as MS Office and SharePoint
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Responsible to maintain confidentiality

     

Education:

 

  • College Certification or University Degree in the technology related field, or equivalent work experience
  • Certification in Networking and Firewalls

 

Working Conditions

 

  • Safety Shoes/boots is mandatory on Production/Manufacturing floor
  • Limited travelling is required
  • Providing  Level 3 support after-hours
  • Available to work flexible hours and weekends to conduct maintenance and upgrades
  • Able to rack servers and networking devices
  • Able to manage network cabling for the servers
