JOB DESCRIPTION

Our client, an important international biotech company with headquarters in Madrid is looking for a Medical Affairs Director for the oncology therapeutical area.

Based in Madrid, this role will have a strategic compound and will be responsible to lead the all scientific projects of the company within the oncology specialty.

Great contact with Key Opinion Leaders 

Knowledge in clinical trials in oncology

Knowledge about international stakeholders, with experience working with EMA / FDA

Mission:

  • Design and implement the company´s strategy.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage de Medical Affairs team
  • Lead the development and implementation of the Medical Affairs Plan.
  • Ensure the implementation the clinical program of licensed products and advise on studies under development, from a medical point of view.
  • Oversee the development, review, and approval of protocols for clinical studies
  • Review and approve the Clinical Trial Reports
  • Define the  Publications Plan strategy of the Company's products
  • Provide a medical examination for marketing strategy and ensure promotional material is in compliance with international regulation
  • Contribute to the Regulatory activities
  • Contribute to the Market Access activities
  • Liaise and manage relationships with key opinion leaders, research committees and external organizations necessary for the implementation of Medical affairs plan and publications for all products.
  • Supervise the activities of the MSLS 
  • Represent the Company and participate in conferences, forums and meetings at national and international.
  • Define the strategic development and positioning of the products from the standpoint of medical needs  and safety and in connection with similar indications licensed and products in development.
  • Contribute to business development activities .
  • Manage the budget of Medical Affairs Area, and ensure there is no deviation.

QUALIFICATIONS

MD specialized in Oncology 

Fluent in English (Spanish preferred, but not a must) 

 

Education:
University - MD
