Global Strategic Sales Training Manager

Remote | Cincinnati, OH HQ

Immediate need for a strategic Global Sales Training Manager for a stable, growing medical device/diagnostics manufacturer! Remote position with presence in their Cincinnati HQ office. 25+ years of growth, products sold in over 45 countries. Parent company is multi-billion-dollar global Fortune 500.

  • Seeking a strategic owner of the entire lifecycle of sales training (platform, materials, process, strategic selling/negotiation, corporate/field training)

Select Responsibilities: 

  • Identify selling skill gaps (including areas like product knowledge, sales call effectiveness, opening and closing skills) and develops/implements the appropriate training strategies and curricula to minimize gaps.

  • Establish a process for evaluating the effectiveness of training activities. Takes accountability for driving continuous improvements to improve quality of training.

  • Develop and implement a standardized sales training & evaluation processes. Revamp current Sales & Management Development programs to ensure consistency. Lead program rollouts

  • Facilitate workshops at HQ state of the art in-house training facility

  • Partner with marketing, sales leadership and internal technical resources to develop the key educational goals for applicable training modules.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • MBA preferred, Bachelor’s Required 

  • 5+ years of sales experience experience with minimum 2 years of Sales Training / Sales Management

  • Must have medical products, devices, diagnostics, or similar complex capital equipment or medical consumable experience. 

  • Customer base knowledge of hospitals, IDNs (Integrated Delivery Network), GPO, ACOs

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Powerpoint, Project Planning and Office with a solid understanding of Salesforce.com.

  • Ability to travel as needed

Education:
University - Master's Degree
