The purpose of this Job Description is to establish and define the authority, accountability, reporting relationships, responsibilities, duties, and measures of performance of the Graphic Designer for Leon’s Signs, Inc., (the Company).
2.0 PURPOSE OF THE GRAPHIC DESIGNER
The basic function of the Graphic Designer is to support the sales and manufacturing teams by designing signs that are creative, effective, and conform to fabrication and installation capacities.
3.0 REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS
3.1 This position reports directly to and is accountable to the Production Manager.
3.2 No positions report directly to the Graphic Designer.
1.0 JOB REQUIREMENTS
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities necessary to meet the minimum job requirements of this position.
1.1 Education Required: High school diploma or equivalent.
1.2 Education Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree.
1.3 Required: Current Texas Driver’s License.
1.4 Required: Use of graphic design software.
1.5 Not Required but preferred: Use of Flexi, Corel Draw, Illustrator, and Photoshop software.
1.6 Experience Required: One or more years of drawing experience.
1.7 Preferred: Five or more years of experience in the sign industry to include manufacturing experience.
1.8 Other life experience may be considered in lieu of the specific experience listed above.
1.9 Must possess the ability to communicate verbally and in writing fluently in English.
