This 4B dollar public company is growing and looking to add to their accouting group due to this growth. This person will have the potential to move to the CAO role or to be president of one of the many divisions across the US.They offer a great starting salary, bonus, very lucrative stock options and relocation assistance to sunny CA.



This person will oversee Divisional Controllers at up to 10 manufacturing locations and be responsbile for the following :

Location Controller Development

  1. Assist in interviewing and hiring process for location Controllers
  2. Assist in development for internally promoted Controllers
  3. Assist with outside hire training on company  processes
  4. Work with location President to assess and develop underperforming Controllers

Corporate Meetings

  1. Attend and participate in quarterly BUM reviews. 
  2. Attend and participate in annual Mid-Year reviews
  3. Attend and participate in annual plan reviews.
  4. Follow up on any questions/issues raised during meetings
  5. Provide pre meeting assistance to locations on issues/results


  1. Assist in due diligence
  2. Work with EVP on RAIL actions
  3. Manage working capital adjustment to purchase price
  4. Assist new Controller in opening balance sheet accounting
  5. Acquisition integration work

Controller Assistance

  1. Assist Controllers with any accounting related questions and follow up
  2. Provide training as requested or needed for Controllers and staff
  3. Regular communication with Controllers on accounting and business issues
  4. Review monthly financials and President Letters.
  5. Review booking and sales by market segment reports.

Corporate Over sight

  1. Complete annual balance sheet review
  2. Provide assistance to EVP’s on projects and presentations
  3. Assist with communication and roll out of new accounting policies and procedures
  4. Work with GT & EY on location audits including cycle counts and cyber security
  5. Follow up on open audit findings




10 or more years of  Accounting or Finance with experience in publically traded manufacturing companies

2 or more years in a Accounting or Finance leadership role with experience managing, developing and training Divisional Controllers

Able to show increasing levels of responsbility and the ability to grow from this role

Bachelors in Accouting or Finance with a strong preference for CPA/MBA

Experience with SEC reporting/ SOX compliance/Audit

University - Bachelor's Degree/3-4 Year Degree
