THE OPPORTUNITY
 
An opportunity currently exists within their head office / facility based in North Western Sydney for a suitably qualified and experienced person in the role of Spare Parts Technician. Working within its dedicated industrial team, this role will see you primarily responsible for identifying, sourcing and coordinating the dispatch and transportation of parts and equipment for their client projects including LV & HV motors, variable speed drives, switchgear and PLC's. 

KEY CRITERIA

  • An advanced electrical trade background or Associate Diploma in Electrical Engineering (Essential)
  • A solid understanding of industrial electrical parts, components and associated equipment 
  • The ability to identify specific parts from engineering drawings and other sources (such as photo's / part numbers etc)
  • Ability to effectively liaise with internal staff and technical personnel (Engineers & Tradespeople)
  • Ability to liaise with and advise customers regarding their enquiries and requirements.
  • Ability to multitask and keep track and control of the ordering process
  • Prior experience with providing quotations to customers
  • Experience in coordinating the dispatch and transportation of products (domestically and internationally)
  • A good level of computer proficiency and ability to learn and utilise internal systems along with MS Office
  • Well developed organisational, people and communication skills

This is a diverse office-based full-time position which will see you playing a pivotal role within the business division and contribute to its ongoing success. You will report to the National Manager with standard hours of work being 8.30am to 4.30pm Monday to Friday. A highly competitive salary is on offer to attract suitably experienced applicants.
