Herdsman position - Indiana

Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT is representing a large dairy operation located in Indiana who is searching for a qualified Herdsman with a willingness to learn and grow. Employer is looking for someone with at least 2 years of dairy experience. Right candidate will have herd health and AI breeding experience. Also needs an understanding of nutrition, feeding, and maternity/transition cows. This position could advance to Herd Manager for the right candidate.
MUST HAVE CURRENT DAIRY EXPERIENCE TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION
- 2 years large dairy experience
- Herd health experience
- AI breeding experience
- Parlor knowledge/experience
- Knowledge of Feeding / Nutrition
- Maternity/Transition cow experience
- Basic computer skills
