MUST HAVE MULTI SITE HOSPITAL OR HEALTHCARE EXPERIENCE

Must have a Bachelors Degree --Masters Preferred

Certified Healthcare Protection Administrator (CHPA)  or other security professional certification preferred

Active member in the International Association of Hospital Security and ASIS preferred


Additional certifications such as; Master Exercise Practitioner, Certified Disaster Recovery Planner (CDRP), Emergency Management (FEMA), Project Management (PMP), Certified Business Continuity Planner (CBCP) or Associate Disaster Recovery planner preferred

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are recruiting a Hospital System Director of Security and Emergency Preparedness for a large expanding Healthcare System.

MUST HAVE MULTI SITE HOSPITAL OR HEALTHCARE EXPERIENCE

The Director of Security and Emergency Management Services directs the development, implementation and evaluation of both programs for the Healthcare System. 

*Ensures a secure environment for the patients, staff, physicians, volunteers, and community through the development and implementation of a Comprehensive Emergency Management Plan (CEMP) and Business Continuity response plan to enable to the Helathcaere System to continue with clinical/business operations should disruptive geopolitical events, natural disasters, crime and computer/human errors occur.  

*Provides regional leadership and expertise across the area to include hospitals, ambulatory and urgent care centers, and business occupancies to include high-risk settings such as behavioral health settings, emergency departments, pediatric settings, NICUs, Women and Newborn services.

*Collaborates with community emergency/law enforcement response agencies to promote interoperability and coordinated crisis response and recovery plans.

*Prefer Certification as a Certified Disaster Recovery Planner (CDRP)

*Prefer Certification in Project Management (PMP)

*Must have experience in Process Improvement

*Must have financial acumen and be results oriented

*Must have a system level of thinking

*Must have Emergency Management Experience

*Must have prior experience with creating the Emergency Plan for Hospital Disasters and Incident Command.
 

QUALIFICATIONS

REQUIREMENTS

Must have a Bachelors Degree --Masters Preferred

Active member in the International Association of Hospital Security and ASIS preferred
Additional certifications such as; Master Exercise Practitioner, Certified Disaster Recovery Planner (CDRP), Emergency Management (FEMA), Project Management (PMP), Certified Business Continuity Planner (CBCP) or Associate Disaster Recovery planner preferred
Current Washington State Driver?s License; and proof of a safe driving record  obtained by a motor vehicle report from the appropriate state or ability to obtain upon hire

Added plus would be experience with a  Canine Program-  Hospital just received thier first Canine.

Education:
University - Bachelor's Degree/3-4 Year Degree
