This is an exciting opportunity with one of the top petrochemicals and performance products plants in the US, based in the Port Neches, Texas area. This role will be responsible for the Polyurethanes Unit area. This position will focus primarily (75%) on instrumentation and 25% on troubleshooting small motors and motor control centers. This individual will support Operations by troubleshooting I&E problems, increase reliability, and work on the front-end work on changes that become projects.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Responsibilities for this position include: 


-Provide I&E technical support and maintenance needs to the unit area, support maintenance and operations, provide troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, repairs, improvements, and installation of new equipment.
-Implement unit projects and maintain metrics.
-Responsible for engineering, estimating, procurement, and management of small capital projects as required.
-Work with maintenance personnel to evaluate PM and inspection reports, recommendations for I&E, HVAC, fire systems, and other related equipment.
-Participate in Environmental, Health & Safety initiatives.

QUALIFICATIONS

Requirements: 
*BS Electrical Engineering
*5+ Years of Refinery or Chemical Plant Instrumentation Experience
*Instrumentation, Small Motors/MCC, PLC/DCS, Front End Project Loading

University - Bachelor's Degree/3-4 Year Degree
