Our client is a well-recognized "Best Small Company to Work For" in downtown Philadelphia.  Exceptional place to work with incredible team of employees.  They have added this permanent Helpdesk position to the IT department of five employees.  Seeking an experienced helpdesk professional with 2-3 years of related experience with telephone, remote and side-by-side experience.  This company requires extensive background checks, reference checks and does in-person and online assessment testing.  US Citizen or Green Card Holder.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Reports to Vice President of Information Technology

  1. Provide tier 1 help desk support (phone, in-person and remote desktop).
  2. Escalate tier 2 calls to appropriate senior IT Team member and work/follow issue through to resolution.
  3. Perform employee workstation and telephone moves, adds, and changes.
  4. Responsible for maintaining PC Store Room (neatness and inventory).
  5. Responsible for employee sign-in/out Loaner Equipment (laptops, projectors, digital cameras).
  6. Work with Senior Help Desk Specialist to maintain Help Desk FAQ's (consistently update and communicate changes).
  7. Regularly attend and represent IT at Agency Meetings to conduct short training presentations and/or be available to answer IT questions that come up.
  8. Work with Senior IT Team members on any technical issues or concerns.

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's Degree preferred.

3-5 years of Helpdesk experience

  1. Understanding of:
    1. Windows Active Directory
    2. Networking Services: TCP/IP, WINS, DNS, DHCP
    3. Windows 10 Desktop
    4. Microsoft Office 365 Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
    5. Smart phones
    6. Troubleshooting Skills
    7. Oral and Written Communications Skills
    8. Technical Process Writing Skills
    9. Project Planning and Management Skills
    10. Available to work with occasional after hour/weekend support 
    11. Must be able to lift 50 pounds

Education:
University - Associate's Degree/Graduate Diploma/2 Years
