My client who is the leader in their industry (manufacturing) is looking for a JDEdwards CNC with strong background on iSeries/AS400 to support multiple locations.  Must be highly versed in Disaster Recovery, experience with DB2 and systems security.  My client would prefer an onsite employee, but consider a balance of onsite and remote work for the right candidate (direct hire).  Company is based in Huntsville AL.  Due to the type of work/industry my client cannot provide VISA transfers or sponsorships at this time for this position.




Typical duties for this position would include:

The CNC (Configurable Network Computing) Administrator - JDE Support will be responsible for the daily technical (ERP) system and is the primary individual responsible for all aspects of the JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Environments.
Will also require working directly with the systems development staff to troubleshoot application issues and project management of upgrades.
IBM AS400 DB2 administration
Systems Security, (firewalls, Routings), Disaster Recovery
Network administration
Participate in system upgrades by assisting in planning and testing those upgrades.
Continuously gains an understanding of the customers’ operations and how systems are used in support of their operations, transferring knowledge to users, programmers and IT support personnel.
Stay abreast of new JDE releases and applications and present opportunities for improvement to the business units.
Determine system requirements and recommends workable JDE solutions to management and staff.
Develop new, or modifies existing software solutions to satisfy ongoing company business needs. 


Requirements for this position include:

Bachelor’s degree
Minimum 3 years of experience years JDE EnterpriseOne 9.x CNC Administration experience in a multi-site manufacturing company.
JDE installation, set-up, configuration, package builds, and deployments experience
Proficient in utilizing the JDE EnterpriseOne Technical Foundation tools and CNC functionality.
Must be able to manage JD Edward Security, Firewalls, and Routing through daily CNC
Excellent technical knowledge on the AS400 / iSeries
Solid experience managing and setting up RDR
Must have experience supporting and administration of IBM DB2 database
Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Willingness and ability to provide 24/7 support when necessary
Understands JDE integration methodology and ability to understand and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
Broad, in-depth knowledge of the manufacturing industry, including industry best practices and trends
