Our non-profit client has a long standing history of serving the WNY community in the areas of education, health and human services.  This is a full-time position in Lackawanna:

  • Typically a 35 hour work schedule, 8am-4pm, M-F
  • Some off-hours and over-time as needed

  • Eligible for overtime pay over 35 hours / doubletime pay for holidays

JOB DESCRIPTION

About the Job
This position is a dual role including Network and Telecommunications Administration. Will handle the daily administration of the network and server environments

 

Network Responsibilities:

Assists with the daily administration of the network/server
environment

  • Monitors network performance to provide diagnosis of issues and
    assists in deployment of solution

  • Documents, tracks, and monitors client equipment including servers,
    workstations, software, network devices, and security appliances

  • Manages user account information, including user rights and security
    groups, service accounts, and group policy

Telephone/Telecommunications:

  • Installs, troubleshoots, repairs and maintains telecommunications
    equipment

  • Maintains and repairs telephones at all locations

  • Programs and maintains information into the PBX system

  • Document, track, and monitor client equipment including Telephone
    Systems, voicemail, application software, and various other telephonyfunctions and peripherals

  • Monitor and analyze Phone System performance

  • Performs structured cabling installation and removal using data &
    voice jacks, connectors, and panels

  • Extend or cross-connect high speed Telco circuits

QUALIFICATIONS

?Required Skills,  Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or
    related field is required

  • Minimum 1-3 years’ experience in network
    administration and voice/data systems

  • Valid NYS driver’s license

  • Local candidates only please

  • Must be authorized to work in the US
