Great opportunity with a global company and industry leader that is seeking an Area Maintenance Manager. Will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining a comprehensive maintenance program and help evaluate and implement appropriate predictive and preventive maintenance technologies. Develop plant maintenance programs to achieve production and quality goals.

Lead reliability engineering efforts to ensure continuous improvement in production reliability. Identify innovative technological solutions.

Develop and implement measurement criteria to assess the effectiveness of maintenance programs and cost containment goals. Develop and manage a unit maintenance budget.

Establish and maintain safe work practices and environmental compliance.

Utilize SAP and other maintenance systems to help drive continuous improvement in the maintenance program.

Develop and implement improvements to maintenance management practices.

Will supervise a Maintenance Planner, Technicians and oversee maintenance contractors working in the unit.

Assure implementation of best practices throughout the plant.



Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical peferred) or equivalent. CMRP Certification a plus.

Experience in managing a maintenance department in a manufacturing environment.

6+ years experience from chemical, pharmaceutical or food processing or related facilities would be ideal.

Experience in maintenance reliability, preventative maintenance and root cause failure analysis

Knowledge of CMMS (ideally SAP system) a plus.

Supervisory experience required.

Strong equipment troubleshooting and problem solving ability.

Knowledge of Manufacturing operations and processes. "Process Industry" experience desired. GMP experience a plus.
