Managing Director of Business Development - Boutique RIA - New York, NY - 6B+ AUM

Current Head of Business Development retiring: Work in conjunction with Senior MD to learn market niche and take over and expand department. Liaise with established marketing team to initiate contact with HNW prospects on a national basis.

Firm is an established, recognized leader in the industry providing in depth fee-based holistic planning including tax, estate, and investment advisory. Emphasis is on providing excellent client service. No product sales involved.

JOB DESCRIPTION

 

  • Position reports directly to CEO and is the primary role tasked with driving new revenues for the firm
  • Meet with prospective clients and make presentations to partners of top financial services firms, senior corporate executives, investment bankers,and other HNW individuals
  • Interact with senior management on sales process and strategy; maintain relationships with existing clients and develop a base of client referrals
  • Manage and strategize with sales team to develop leads, schedule introductory meetings and arrange follow up communications


 

QUALIFICATIONS

Requires self-starter who can operate in a small firm environment with successful new business track record. Position is not industry-specific, but candidate must demonstrate strong business development capabilities.

Seeking candidates currently making 250K-400K+. This opportunity provides significant compensation potential, comprised of base salary plus incentive compensation.
