An opportunity has arisen for a Mechatronics Engineer to carry out design and systems engineering activities.

In Your New Role you will join the team involved in designing automated materials handling solutions for warehousing and storage requirements. You will work in a customer consulting and systems design capacity and will analyse customer business requirements and create innovative work flow and/or automation solutions to improve their business operations.

This company invests in and trains it staff locally as well as overseas. After training you will be able to offer in-depth knowledge of the capability and design of automated materials handling solutions and their commercial benefits.

You will be a graduate in Mechatronics Engineering (or Industrial, Mechanical, Electronic) and will have some relevant recent graduate experience. Some exposure to Process Improvement, workflow improvement or Automation engineering work will be a plus, as well as good fundamental skills in mechanical or electronic design using CAD systems. Knowledge of the application of control products such as PLCs, VSDs, and SCADA would be an advantage as too would software programming.
