Bachelor's degree in mining engineering or other relevant discipline

A minimum of 7-10 years’ relevant experience with an emphasis on underground mine planning, design and scheduling.

Exposure to continuous improvement methods (Lean/Six Sigma)

Ability to engage and manage multiple stakeholders.

Project management and Capital program implementation skills

Broad knowledge of underground mine safety standards
Excellent safety record

Summary:The person in this position will oversee the development of mine planning & strategies by designing and planning cases that optimize product quality, value and risk , mine fleet requirements, and estimates for capital and operating costs suitable for inclusion into mining studies and life of mine plans.

Education and/or Experience:

Bachelor's degree in mining engineering or other relevant discipline

A minimum of 7-10 years’ relevant experience with an emphasis on underground mine planning, design and scheduling.

Exposure to continuous improvement methods (Lean/Six Sigma)

Ability to engage and manage multiple stakeholders.

Sound understanding of financial costing and budgetary controls

Willing and able to work in a dynamic and changing environment

Good level of communication, negotiation and influencing skills

Project management and Capital program implementation skills
