JOB DESCRIPTION

The Nursing Home Administrator position requires an individual who is dependable, self-sufficient and can easily multi-task. The candidate will direct the overall operations of the facility in accordance with applicable local, state and federal guidelines and regulations while ensuring quality care is delivered; and performs related work as required.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The Nursing Home Administrator is responsible for the all day-to-day operations of the facility. The Nursing Home Administrator is responsible for developing and maintaining employee relations, ensuring the coordination of the delivery of quality care and services, understanding and meeting financial guidelines, and promoting the facility's stature in the community at large.

QUALIFICATIONS

Requirements

  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Bachelors Degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration or a related field preferred.
  • Current Pennsylvania Nursing Home Administrator license.
  • Minimum three years experience in healthcare in a senior management capacity.
  • Strong healthcare regulatory knowledge.
  • Fiscal and budgetary knowledge.
  • CANDIDATE DETAILS

    Seniority Level - Director
    Management Experience Required - No
    Minimum Education - Bachelor's Degree
    Willingness to Travel -Ability to work with physicians and other healthcare professionals.

 

Education:
University - Bachelor's Degree/3-4 Year Degree
