He is only looking to fill this role as his current office manager, who has been with hom for a very long time , is retiring.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Our client are a  Hills based  family Friendly commercial /Industrial / refurbishment /Fit Out / Facilities Management /Property Maintenance Company who carry out a range of  property upgrades, maintenance and repairs on a wide range of structures across Sydney –EG Schools /cafes / Warehouses etc.

 

Their current office Manager, who has been with them for a very long time is retiring and they need a replacement   ASAP.

 

Reporting directly to the Owner of the company the person we are looking for will be responsible for:

 

  1. Payroll - circa 20 staff, including collection and allocation of time sheets for a mix of all trades and white collar personnel.
  2. Raising and chasing invoices and payments to clients and suppliers.
  3. Bank reconciliations.
  4. BAS Preparation and submission.
  5. Managing Superannuation and Long service leave etc.
  6. Management ofworkers comp claims and general insurances.
  7. Worker On boarding /Inductions etc.
  8. All and any other general office duties that may be required form time to time.

 

Other essential requirements are:

 

  1. A mature, professional and friendly attitude – this is a small office where everyone gets on and does whatever needs to be done – no time for office politics.
  2. Outstanding Oral and written communication skills as you will be required to maintain regular communication with client’s suppliers and staff.
  3. Unrestricted work rights in Australia.
  4. Own Transport – heaps offree street parking.
  5. Checkable References
