Well-respected multibillion dollar Consumer Products manufacturer with well known, iconic brands seeks a hands-on, energetic Operations Manager to operate as the primary contact with several co-manufacturers and co-packers

This is a highly visible role as you will be the key liaison between external suppliers and internal stakeholders, including Planning, Procurement, Inventory Control, Quality, Logistics/Transportation, Marketing, etc.

You, along with the Co-Manufacturing team, are responsible for ensuring supplier compliance with all policies and procedures, including meeting production schedules and ensuring that all products meet specifications and quality requirements.

 

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Build and maintain co-manufacturing partnerships, measure and track KPIs, and resolve day to day issues. 
  • Key liaison between external suppliers and internal stakeholders, including Planning, Procurement, Inventory Control, Quality, Logistics/Transportation, Marketing, etc.
  • Along with the Co-Manufacturing team, responsible for ensuring supplier compliance with all policies and procedures, including meeting production schedules and ensuring that all products meet specifications and quality requirements. 
  • Provide effective project management for growth and productivity improvement.
  • Drive various Co-Manufacturer initiatives and production processes, including new item, launches from conception through commercialization.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Co-Manufacturing or Supplier management experience required.
  • 5+ years Management experience in manufacturing plant operations, engineering, supply chain, and/or procurement.
  • Ability to effectively manage internal and external relationships.
  • Proven track record of cross-functional project management leadership.
  • CI skills.
  • Superior PM skills Solid problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to travel as required (approx. 35%).

Education:
University - Bachelor's Degree/3-4 Year Degree
