For many years, they have been providing North American fabricators with some of the best lines of glass products in the world. They are currently looking for a new Outside Sales Representative who will be an addition to the team and the main support to the owner. This individual will take over some of their existing clients and will look for new business opportunities, in order to increase company’s revenue.

Our client will consider candidates with 3+ years of B2B sales experience, necessarily coming from the building materials industry. People with previous experience in the glass industry will be preferred. Travel will be mostly in Vancouver and Lower Mainland and compensation will depend on experience.

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Promote company’s products and increase company’s revenue within the assigned territory.
  • Manage the existing accounts while identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
  • Once established in the company, independently create quotes and present them to customers.
  • Work with the other members of the company to analyze market trends and identify new business opportunities.
  • Keep track of sales activities and complete weekly planning, call reporting and expense reports.
  • Complete all the necessary paperwork after receiving customer purchase orders or signed quotation.
  • Participate to company events, branch meetings, local trade shows, etc.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3+ years of previous B2B sales experience in building materials/construction industry. Knowledge of the glass industry is ideal
  • Successful record of meeting sales goals and managing existing accounts
  • Proven ability to build strong relationships with customers
  • Ability to use a CRM platform
  • Strong organizational and communications skills and attention to details
  • Self-motivated, driven, professional individual with an energetic personality
  • Ability to identify and solve problems
  • Valid driver’s license
