What you will be doing:

PWA Developer to help us take our innovative medical learning web products offline.  Current site is already utilizing the latest Angular framework features and is PWA enabled but needs you to make it a truly amazing offline experience. This person will work closely with leadership, development and operations teams to develop and deliver web and mobile technology.

  • Enhance and develop offline functionality (among other features) on our existing app written in Angular and powered by .NET API backend
  • Deliver across the entire app life cycle: concept, design, build, deploy, test, release and continuous quality improvement using input and feedback from customers and leadership.
  • Analyze user needs and software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints.
  • Confer with systems analysts, engineers, programmers and others to design systems and to obtain information on project limitations and capabilities, performance requirements and interfaces.
  • Modify existing software to correct errors, allow it to adapt to new hardware, or to improve performance.
  • Develop and direct software system testing and validation procedures, programming and documentation.
  • Create compelling user interfaces and experiences.
  • Keep up to date on the latest industry trends in web and mobile technology domains.


Experience you will need:

  • Extensive experience implementing Progressive Web Applications (PWA) for increased performance and offline use including data and asset caching
  • 7+ years of professional work experience building high-traffic consumer web applications
  • Expert level knowledge of HTML, JavaScript and CSS
  • Deep understanding of cross-browser, cross-device, and web performance considerations
  • In-depth data structure and algorithm development experience
