Our client is a privately owned and family run aged care organisation located south of the river. They require a Permanent full time Payroll Rostering Coordinator.
Reporting to the Business Finance Manager you will provide accurate, timely and efficient accounting services to their business by supporting and assisting with proactive and up to date accounting and financial practices.
What you’ll be doing:
End to end fortnightly payroll
Initial point of contact for payroll queries
Preparing and processing information such as leave, superannuation
Interpreting agreements and legislation
Assisting with month end consolidation and year-end processes
Using Care Systems to create and manage rosters across the business
Effective allocation of staff to meet client needs and compliance with EBA
Quickly respond to staff absences to ensure staff allocation is achieved
Work closely and collaboratively with HR to ensure that all contractual responsibilities are maintained
What you’ll need:
Minimum 3 years payroll experience
Experience with Care Systems from a Payroll and Rostering perspective (desirable)
Understanding of payroll processes and relevant legislation
Ability to prioritise a varied workload and meet deadlines in a busy environment
Exceptional customer services ethos, with a focus on meeting deadlines, quality and accuracy
High degree of computer proficiency
Attention to detail and an ability to effectively manage your time.
