Position Description:

The Plant Manager will oversee daily plant operations and be responsible for supervision of professional staff, project management, implementation of plant goals and objectives, ensure PSM compliance, maintenance programs and change management.  Competitive salary and benefits including annual bonus.   • Develops and implements an overall production and manufacturing strategy in the plant, such as plant metrics, resource allocation, maintenance and safety programs, budget development, and capital and process improvement projects; ensures applicable measurements are met.
  • Build a high performance manufacturing team in regards to productivity, HSE, OEE, costs and quality.
  • Supervises staff to include hiring, training, evaluating performance, and overall development of people and skills.
  • Oversees and/or develops, analyzes and reviews a variety of production reports to improve costs, employee commitment, safety, production lines, quality, efficiency, cycle times, volumes, and implements management changes as required.
  • Bring a culture of Continuous Improvement to the organization.


• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering. Master’s degree a plus. 
• Ideally 10+ years of supervisory experience (including recent experience in a Sr Operations/Plant manager role) in a chemical or related PSM manufacturing environment.
• Experience in a world class type manufacturing environment utilizing Continuous Improvement methodology (Lean Six Sigma, 5S, OEE)
• Previous supervisory experience in a Union shop desired.
• Proven ability with MOC and a driving a culture change as well.
